Get Connected has some fantastic celebrity supporters who are passionate about improving the lives of children and young people across the UK.
In 2009, in conjunction with our 10th-birthday celebration, we were delighted to launch our Friends Scheme and have Daniel Radcliffe become our Best Friend.
"Get Connected’s free confidential helpline finding young people help is a vital and unique service. We live in a world that is so full of choice and information; it is often hard to know where to turn or what to do. I see Get Connected as a friend to thousands of young people across the UK. I hope that my support can raise the organisation's visibility so that even more young people become aware that there's help at hand.”
In 2012, the young actor supported our most successful auction to date, which raised an incredible £240,000. He has also attended our annual quiz event, Get Qu?zzical, joining celebrity attendees such as Matt Dawson, Phil Tufnell, Kara Tointon and Matt Cardle.
We are proud to enjoy the support of many celebrities. Dancers from BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, including Anton du Beke and Erin Boag have taken to the dancefloor at Get Connected fundraisers.
We also have our annual comedy night, Get Comedy, where celebrity comics including Mark Watson, Jo Caulfield and Richard Herring have all raised the roof and funds for vulnerable young people. For details of our next gig, please check out our events page here.
We would like to sincerely thank each of our celebrity supporters for their commitment to our work.
