Working with young people?

If you work with young people, Get Connected can help you support them and you can help us reach more young people.

How we can help you:

- We can support young people you know

Get Connected finds young people help with any issue - nothing's too big or too small. So if you're working with young people and they have worries that aren't addressed by you or your colleagues, just give them our helpline number. Young people too shy or too scared to call us can email or webchat with us.

0808 808 4994 / / www.getconnected.org.uk

We're free, confidential and can connect them to any other service for free.

Want us to post you publicity materials so you can display them and give young people a Get Connected card? Just contact us and ask.

How you can help us:

Most importantly - let as many young people know about Get Connected as possible, so that they have somewhere free and confidential to turn in times of distress or crisis.

- You could support young people we know

Get Connected refers young people to services across the UK, from other national helplines to local drop-in centres. Although we use an up to date database of over 13,000 services, we may not know about your service. If you think Get Connected could be referring young people to your service, contact our Service Provision team to tell us about your organisation.

- Young people you work with can participate in our Young People in Management Scheme

You can also ask for young people you work with to be involved in the running of Get Connected. We operate the Young People in Management Scheme to ensure that we get young people's input into the development of the service. We hold regular consultation events and would love to hear from you if you know young people who'd like to have their say on our service. Email us to find out when and where the next consultation event is.
