Our Best Friend, Daniel Radcliffe
We were delighted to have the young actor, Daniel Radcliffe, become our first Best Friend in 2009, in conjunction with the launch of our Friends' Scheme, and Get Connected's 10th birthday celebration.
Radcliffe said "I am delighted to pledge my support for Get Connected, and mark their 10th anniversary by becoming their Best Friend. The free onfidential helpline finding young people help is a vital and unique service. We live in a world that is so full of choice and information; it is often to know where to turn or what to do. I see Get Connected as much more than just a gateway for information; it is a friend to thousands of young people across the UK. I hope that my support can raise the organisation's visibility so that even more young people become aware that there's help on hand. And I hope that you will join me in becoming a Friend of Get Connected too, and help us make a real difference to thousands of young people."
