Or at least that's what a study conducted by The Prince's Trust reckons.
The Prince's Trust interviewed 2,004 16 to 25-year-olds across Britain and, based on the results, the trust says the survey reveals an "increasingly vulnerable generation".
12% said that life was meaningless, and over a quarter claimed that they were "often" or "always" depressed.
Michael Mercieca from The Prince's Trust said, "The index reveals an increasingly vulnerable generation. Young people tell us that family is key to their happiness, yet too often we find they don't have this crucial support."
Paul Brow, also of The Prince's Trust said, "Often young people who feel they have reached rock bottom don't know where to turn for help."
Apologies for not starting the year with a particularly cheerful post, but in light of this survey, I thought it was worth reminding you all that Get Connected is here for you if you're ever feeling down and need someone to talk to.
