A film about Get Connected

A few months ago, the Media Trust very kindly awarded us a grant to have a film about Get Connected made.

The Media Trust put us in touch with super talented film director Rebecca Goff who - along with some brilliant producers, musicians and actors - made a fantastic promotional film about Get Connected.

You can watch the film by clicking here. If you'd like to embed the film on your blog or website, please feel free, but please let us know so we know how far and wide the Get Connected message is being spread.

And remember, we always want to know what you think about everything we do, so once you've watched the film, why not write a comment on our blog?

ALOL is 1!

[ALOL is 1!]

One year ago we decided that we wanted to send out a monthly e-newsletter to keep everyone up to date with what we were up to at Get Connected.

And so A Labour Of Love was born.

This is the twelth issue of ALOL and so we can officially say that ALOL has reached its first birthday!

We're not throwing a big party to celebrate or anything but to mark the anniversary we've made all the previous issues of ALOL available on our online archive. So if you didn't sign up from the first issue or if you've ever clicked 'delete' a little too quickly, you can now revisit old issues by clicking on this link.

If you like what you see, remember to forward the newsletter to a friend!

Even more blogging

It was only last month when Mudia - a 17-year-old volunteer - started blogging for us, but he's already been joined by another addition to our blogging team.

Our newest blogger is also 17. Her name is Kanza and she's already written her first post.

It's about the... erm... role of role models and it's really rather good.

You can read it by clicking here.
