With charitable activity becoming an increasingly important element in the business world, many organisations now have formal policies for corporate support. These may include:
A corporate foundation
This is likely to have its own rules for charitable giving, outlining the application procedures and criteria for giving. Many will not accept appeals from charities without the endorsement of an employee.
You can help us by:
- Finding out if your company has a foundation
- Checking the criteria against which your company's foundation will make donations
- Endorsing an application from Get Connected
We realise that your time is valuable and you can be as involved as much or as little as you like during the application process. We are more than happy to do all the work involved - completing applications, preparing presentations etc.
Matched giving
Many organisations like to support the charities which are important to their employees. Often they will offer to equal any sponsorship raised for events, doubling your total in one step.
