'Reply emails in the next 1 hour or less'
- We do try to respond to emails within 24 hours but unfortunately can rarely get back to you within an hour. This is because we don't have enough volunteer Helpline Workers to answer emails as soon as they arrive, and also because it can take quite a while to write a response to your email - we want to ensure that our email to you is supportive and contains all the information you might need. We're always working to make our response times quicker by recruiting more volunteers and more staff to supervise the helpline. - At Get Connected, we know that it can take a while to get through to the helpline. We're working to make the queue as short as possible by recruiting as many volunteer Helpline Workers as we can but there are certain times of day when we struggle to get enough volunteers. Our target for the year is to answer 80% of phone calls within 2 minutes.
