Sharing learning about young people
Get Connected spoke to over 13,500 young people in 2007-08, about a huge variety of issues, from all over the UK.
We referred to over 3,800 different services and connected young people for free to over 680 of these.
We also identified certain regions, issues and times of day where appropriate services weren't open, or didn't exist. We'd like to help any organisation that aims to fill these gaps in service provision, in any way we can.
We launched our email service in 2002 and our webchat service in 2006. We're investigating other channels through which to provide the helpline, including two-way texting.
We've learned a lot about young people since we started in 1999, but we'd also like to learn more from you.
