[A Labour of Love] [Need Help? (Click here)]

Get Started

We're trialling a new way for you to find help - where you choose options from a carefully built database, narrow down your choices and arrive at the most suitable service. It's a signpost of services, if you will, which should explain the pretty picture to the right.

If it's all a bit confusing or you aren't sure what's wrong in the first place, why not call or email us and get some help working out what you want to do? Get Connected can provide you with emotional support via any of our other channels: phone, email or webchat

Click here to have a go, and let us know what you thought afterwards by filling in the feedback form.

Say hello to Caroline

[Say hello to Caroline]

In our continuing series of interviews with our volunteers, we'd like to introduce you to Caroline (that's a picture she drew of herself over on the left). She's been a volunteer for over two years and her ringtone is something called 'Quadratic'.

Frankly, you'd be silly not to want to learn more about her.

ALOL: “Why did you choose to work specifically with young people?”
Caroline: “I had worked with adults and mainly older people, so felt that I'd like to work with younger people for a change. I also thought that being young myself and having dealt with many of my own problems, I would be in a good position to identify with and support young people in difficult situations.”

Get Connected versus Bebo

We already spend so much time on MySpace and Facebook that we're not sure it's wise for us to get involved with another social networking site, but we've somehow convinced ourselves that we should join Bebo.

There's not much to see at the moment. In fact, as it stands, we don't even have a single friend :(

If you've got a profile on there, come and say hello.
