Please note: Unfortunately, it can take us a while to respond to your webchat. If you open the webchat window and no one is available to answer you immediately, you might prefer to either email us instead, call the helpline, or wait for a Helpline Worker to respond in the window you've opened. Closing the window and opening it again won't move you further along in the queue.

By using webchat, you get the same support and information that you would over the phone or via email in a one-to-one webchat conversation.
Webchat is confidential and we don't need your name or email address. However, to ensure that you're getting the best support available, other members of our helpline staff might read your conversation. If you'd like a copy of the entire conversation afterwards, we'll be happy to email a copy of it to you afterwards.
The IP address of the computer you're using to webchat with will be visible to our helpline staff. We won't share this with anyone outside Get Connected or use it for anything unless we think your life or someone else's is in danger.
